Order of Recent New Articles in What's Happening newsletter

In the last 3-4 weeks, meaning this began about the time you introduced the ability to reorder how different pages appear in the What’s Happening newsletter, I’ve noticed that items reported from the News & Announcements page now appear in REVERSE order to how they are posted on the page. This means that the most recent postings are shown last in the newsletter. Previously, they appeared with the newest postings at the top of the News Articles section.
When I post items to News & Announcements, I post the items I believe are most important to our residents as the final postings so they appear at the top of the page. This sometimes entails copying an article and reposting it to move it to the top of the page, then deleting the original article, because other articles have been posted since the original one was posted. (On a side note, it would be REALLY HELPFUL if there was a way to drag-and-drop articles on the News & Announcements page to re-order them in importance.)
For the last month, the news articles shown in the newsletter are shown in reverse order to how they are posted on the website. This moves what we intend as the most important announcements to the bottom of the list, below less important announcements or announcements of general interest, which can cause people to miss them.
How can this be fixed?

Because the What’s Happening emails are designed to highlight a limited amount of newly published content, content is sorted in ascending chronological order to facilitate easier reading and provide context for more recently published content. News articles therefore use ascending chronological order, and it would make reading these emails more difficult if news articles were displayed in a different order than other content.
On the website, where content lives indefinitely, content is often displayed in reverse chronological order. This allows users to see the most recent content at the top, rather than having to scroll through potentially years of content to find the most recent items.
If you are interested in reordering news articles, we have an open feature request for this type of functionality: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/reorder-news-articles.
There’s also an open feature request for the ability to edit the date a news article was published, which could be used to effectively sort news articles in What’s Happening emails: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/edit-news-articles-published-date.

I would definitely use the drag & drop. Would also like to be able to duplicate an article (similar to duplicating email communications) if I need to do a new article with just a few changes.
