Provide the individual who submitted a form on the website with a copy.
Absolutely a good idea!
It would be great to be able to include a few standard fields in the custom forms that allowed the submitter to choose if they wanted a copy, e.g. "Do you want a copy of this emailed to you?" Click yes "Enter your email if it is not above"
Yes..this would be an absolute benefit to have this feature.
This what I am doing: Our website emails me the data submitted on a website form, I copy the data to an Excel spreadsheet, run a macro to realign the data, save as txt, import the txt into an Adobe Acrobat form identical to the form on the website. Once the data is in PDF, I stamp the PDF with our digital ACC stamp, sign it digitally/approve it and email back to the sender. Sounds overkill but usually takes a minute or two.
This is a great idea. I just assumed the submitter received a copy. Please add this ability! Thank you!
Yes! This is a great idea. One I have thought of several times. I maintain our website and do this manually now (send a copy to the the person submitting).
This necessary for us. As the sender of an online form, once I hit the Submit button, I have no record of what I sent. If I don't get a prompt response, I don't know if the receiver ever got the form. This is exactly the type of situation (lack of confidence in the website) that I want to avoid. I want to use the online form feature more, but without the option to have a copy sent to the sender or the ability to enter an additional email address to the form, I am reluctant to use it.
This is a great idea. We really need the person to have a copy of any Contact Page submission or Requests. Thanks.
