As part of our ongoing effort to release our next gen front ends, we’ll be modernizing how protected files (e.g., documents, attachments, etc.) are served to authenticated users. This functionality is currently built into the community websites front end, which is still powered by our older technologies. We’ll be separating this functionality off from the community websites front end, so that it’s powered by its own modernized code. This will narrow the scope of the community websites front end, making it easier to modernize when the time comes.
