Ability to click on a date in a calendar to add an event

Currently, adding an event to the calendar is somewhat time consuming. To speed things up, I would like the ability to click on a given date on the calendar, and be presented with the form partially completed with the date selected.

When entering Board meetings onto the calendar, the first month went just fine, but clicking on the day of the following month did nothing. I had to exit and re-enter to continue.

Meredith Owens: Noticed the bug too. At least it's easy to overcome and I'm sure will be corrected soon. Would be so nice to see something on the FAQ side of things though ;-)

Administrators and page editors can now click on a specific day within a calendar to create an event for that date.

I find it frustrating that when I click on a calendar date to upload an event, it doesn't auto-fill with that date in the Start Date section. Instead I have to click on the Start Date and End Date to select from a calendar, which by the way auto loads as the current month. It would be nice if, say for instance, I am looking ahead into posting an event on November 9th, 2019, that when I click on that date on the calendar, the Start Date would auto load with Nov 9th, and the End Date would at least load with the November calendar, instead of the current month. Thank you!

We do our meetings bi-monthly (every other month) on the 1st Tuesday. It would be nice to be able to repeat this instead of manually going in and creating one each time.

YES I absolutely agree. Please make this happen. I would also like to be able to enter multiple dates for repeat meetings. Currently you can only do this if they repeat sequentially by month or week. Our meetings are established for the year but not on same day or week of the month.

Sdr New: Is there a specific pattern your community uses for when annual events occur? For example, the second Saturday of January.
