We decided that for various reasons we need a "Diary" page type. Diaries are useful for projects, managing large issues and simply as a running history of the HOA or Condo.
We are currently using the News page as a rough but useful version of a diary, with the Title simply being a date, but it falls short of our needs. For one thing, unlike some other pages you cannot move the entries up and down. It might happen that we find we have an entry we want to add somewhat after the fact, but when we add it, it goes to the top of the list and cannot be moved into date sequence.
We would also like to have a filtering ability.
And we would like a search capability.
Does anyone else think a diary page would be useful, and can you think of other features it should have other than those already inherent in the News page or those additional features I have suggested above?
