Set page restrictions when adding a new page
Richard Gunther
When you create a new page, it has no page restrictions by default. There's already a suggestion to be able to define default restrictions for new pages on a site. This is a great idea. Additionally, how about allowing admins set the page restrictions when they're adding the page? We already set the publishing status and folder there. Why not also set the permissions at the same time instead of having to go back to the Pages list, find it, then change the restrictions there?

Assign restrictions when creating page
Deena Gentle
It is important to us to be able to assign restrictions when we are setting up a new page -- rather than have to remember to go back and set restrictions. Most of our pages are for HOA members only, so that affects a lot of our pages! Please make this possible. Thank you

Ability to edit restrictions before saving a new page on the admin portal.

We should be able to edit the restrictions on a new page before saving it instead of automatically being directed to the new page. It's too easy to forget to go back to the admin portal to edit the restrictions.

Set permissions while creating a page
Mike Wish
As a content manager, I want to set the permissions on a page at the time of creation so that I can immediately publish the page but only to a select audience. Should I publish it and forget to set permissions, sensitive information may inadvertently be published to the public.

It would seem that the easy solution is to set any new page as “unpublished” (default setting). This would force the content manager/ webmaster to select the audience to “see” the page and avoids the entire discussion described above.

Michael Kammer: just a lot of extra steps I’d rather avoid and this can’t be that hard of a feature to implement.

Good idea. But after I create a page I usually have to move it, so then I can also change the settings.
