Scheduled publishing/unpublishing for pages

Provide the ability to schedule publishing or unpublishing pages on the website.
ORIGINAL POST:
One feature I would like to see in HOA Express is the ability to add a start and end date on content (all kinds). CMSs that I am familiar with have this feature. Then when content is rendered, it only shows if it's between those date/times. I can add content in the future and it will automatically be removed when it expires.

Agree, especially with ability to set a start date in the future rather immediately publishing at the first draft.

This is a great idea. I constantly have to review our site and delete old or obsolete material.

This is a feature we could use as well especially if we have a major event that deserves its own page. We are constantly having to delete Latest News items once Events have expired so having this ability at a page level provides options.

We would consider this capability for pages on the website. Since we already have a "published" feature available, we would look at developing the ability to schedule when a page is published or unpublished. Therefore, I've updated the post's description to reflect this.

I frequently use Joomla for a CMS. I have also built sites with only html so I sorta know what is behind the scenes. I have attached a screen shot of the way joomla handles a page. As you can see, there is a section for publishing where the webmaster can enter a beginning and ending date for the page to be published/shown. This way I can enter content ahead of publication and it will automatically be removed thus keeping the site current. Let me know if you need more explanation.
