You can now save an invitation message as the default message for your community! Just use the new checkbox when sending invitations via the beta Admin Portal.
In addition, we're currently working on the ability to manage the default invitation message from the settings section (without having to send invitations).

I agree with Richard Gunther . . . revise your default message to replace "myself" with "me." Some admins do not go to the trouble of replacing the default messages.

Bonnie Clements: This was already addressed in this bug report: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/bug-reports/p/grammar-on-invite-to-join-message

We plan to incorporate this feature into the beta Admin Portal.

I've added my vote to this. There are two things I need to change to send this out:
(1) I correct "feel free to contact myself," which is grammatically incorrect, to "feel free to contact me."
(2) I remove "or one of the other..." after that, since I'm the only person residents should contact with web issues; if we had others, the new person wouldn't know who those people were anyway unless I further edited the message to add those names, too.
Meredith Owens
Richard Gunther: You can currently edit this message to say whatever you'd like. However, customized messages are not currently saved on the website. That is what this feature request would address!
Richard Gunther
Meredith Owens: Sounds good. Just adding my voice to this request. In the meantime, would it be possible to get the grammar error fixed in an earlier update? "Myself" is the wrong pronoun there. You contact yourself. I contact myself. You can't contact myself. That's an incorrect use of a reflexive pronoun. It should be "contact me or contact one of the other...."
Meredith Owens
@Richard Gunther: We've created a bug report for the grammar mistake on the default message and added your vote. This way, you're aware of all status updates to it. You can view that post here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/bug-reports/p/grammar-on-invite-to-join-message.

Meredith Owens: Thanks, Meredith. I know I'm being kind of demanding for a new admin. 😃 I'm diving in with both feet, hoping to drag our community site into the current decade while community activities (and therefore posts/changes) are at an all-time low!

We would also like to have the ability to create our own default "Invite to Join" message. The workaround I've been using is to write what I want to say in Word, then copy and paste. That works, but it gets tedious. It would also be nice to have a history of these emails that I've sent out.
Meredith Owens
Stephen Sacco: Your last request to have a history of the "invite to join" emails that are sent out is a separate request from this post. If this is something that would be important to your community to have, we encourage you to create a new post for this specific feature request.

This is most important! Depending on which admin that needs to do the inviting, time of year ---- what have you, this is a must to be able to have a consistent message catered to our voice. We have to edit this every time there is a new member/homeowner because the default is not what we want. Please work on this! Much is appreciated!

This would be good to have; As the admin for the site, I would like to save the emails I send out. I tried to include myself in the email list but could not as it said I was already sent the email. So was not able to save a copy.

Hi - I believe it isn’t the invite that is a problem at the moment, but the thank you for registering email. Can we request a custom one for us?
Meredith Owens
Betty Morris: Since this request is separate from the request on this post, would you please create a new post for this? In the details of that post, please also provide a screenshot or subject line of the exact email you're referring to.
Also, changes made to our interface are released to all communities using our service. Since we don't make changes for individual communities, we have to keep in mind how a new capability will affect everyone using our service.

We'd like to change and save any and all system generated messages...It creates an issue with our members when the reply email says they have ability to post messages and we do not want to provide that ability. We may not be able to subscribe and roll this out to our members if we cannot customize the "Thanks for registering" system generated email and we were hoping to do so within the next 30 days. Can you tell us when that option will be ready?
Meredith Owens
Betty Morris: Having the ability to customize any and all system-generated messages is a broad request. Therefore, we recommend you submit each type of system-generated email you'd be interested in customizing as its own feature request.
