Reconsider allowing the choice of whether folders and subfolders are shown on a document page vs. on the menu

As an example, I want a simple menu item "Board Documents". Then I want folders and subfolders visible when visiting that page. I might want alot of folders and subfolders (to facilitate keeping all our documents here instead of a separate service like Google Drive). I don't want to clutter up the menu and also would like to have more text room for folder descriptions. Same with a page "Archived Documents".
