Provide profile name in communications archive
Madison Cox
Display the current profile name in the logs under the "Communications Archive."
ORIGINAL POST:
Currently, when a user is logged in and goes to their communications archive, they see the template, not the actual message.
I was expecting to see the actual users' first and last names, since they are logged in and not the placeholders.

Although we haven't used this capability much yet, I would agree it's better to display the name of the person logged in and a message that they may not be the original recipient rather than the template. Another option might be to not display a name at all and just display the archived communication with a message that the original recipient isn't available, which is accurate from what I understand from these commnts.

Madison Cox: Although it wouldn't be possible to store the name used at the time of sending, we are open to the idea of displaying the current name from the profile in the communication archive. Since profile names can change over time, we would likely add a note indicating that the name being displayed is the current one and may have changed. This way, it helps to reduce any potential confusion.
We've updated this post to more closely align with what we would consider implementing.

Meredith Owens that was what I was actually expecting, since the user is logged in, it would make sense to display the current first and last name.
