Option to INCLUDE additional pages

I see several requests for more flexibility to EXCLUDE items in the email "blast", but I would like to see an option to INCLUDE additional pages or documents. With the frequency of updates including cancellation of activities due to COVID-19/Coronavirus, we have added a specific page that I am currently updating multiple times a day. We are encouraging residents to visit the page regularly (at a minimum, daily would be great), but it would be nice to be able to include this page in the weekly blast as well. (In the interim as a work-around, I have a reminder set to do an updated News & Updates article each Sunday so it will be featured in the Monday email.)

I'm afraid we don’t have plans to allow admins to select just any page’s content to be included in the What's Happening email. The current page types it’s set to pull from generally contain notable new content that’s likely to have updates weekly or monthly. Additionally, it wouldn’t be practical to send the contents of a "General Text" page in a What’s Happening email since that type of content can’t be easily boiled down to only the new content without losing context.
Instead, you could include this information on a “News Articles” page, which would be included in the coming week's What's Happening email.
Also, if you have important information you need to send out right away, we recommend using the blast emailing feature in the "Communications" section. Within this email message, you can include a link to the "General Text" page you created.
