Option to exclude individual events from What's Happening emails

Some things on these emails are items that happen every week and are of little interest. It would be nice if these could be marked so they are NOT shown on the What's Happening emails. Other items are major events. It would be nice if these could be highlighted and/or have additional details added.

I agree it would be nice to decide by event which are included in the What's Happening emails rather than all or nothing for the calendar.
Renee Somers
I would like to choose what goes into the What's happening email. Most folks do not care about the mundane updates. Just a recap of communications sent to all, and any page or announcement updates would be great!

This would be great feature, not everything being posted to our HOA site is meant for everyone, for example some don't have access to files being posted but are being informed nonetheless. Causes confusion.

Michael McNichols: The What's Happening email is currently designed to tailor the content included to what each member has access to view on your website. This way, a member is only ever notified about the content they have permission to view.
For instance, if a "Documents" page is restricted to the board members, only the members included in that group will have new documents uploaded to that page included in their What's Happening email.
Michael McNichols
Meredith Owens: Thanks for the explanation and this is reasuring to know our members are seeing what they need to see and not those itemes they don't have permissions too.

Even the ability to flag something as Major/Minor such that major items go at the top and minor ones get single line notes at the bottom.

Good idea. Would be nice if individual residents could customize to their choice

We have many recurring events on our calendar that clog up the what's happening email. It would be great to chose what gets put it the email.

Great idea. Especially, the highlighting of Major Items or Events.

It would be nice to choose the content of the what's happening email

I agree. Some things such as updated forms or documents don’t need to appear in these emails, especially when something minor has been updated.
Mike Klackle
I strongly agree - this would be an excellent option to be able to tagged items accordingly.
