Include Markdown editor on "Committees" page
Britt Griswold
Add the Markdown editor to the "Committees" page type to allow for additional formatting where you add the committee description/purpose.
ORIGINAL POST:
Please consider adding the standard text styling/editing options to the page type that lists Committees. I would like to do bold/italic text and page links, pictures would also be nice, but not that important to me.

Just posting a new comment to "freshen" this feature request. Still of interest - please consider.

Very important to have extended editing capabilities and the ability to add hyperlinks to all pages with text. Especially want it on the Committees page

The markdown editor would be good for highlighting non-registered committee members that we have to add to committee description. The problem is your eye goes directly to the fancy bold entries that registered users get and bypasses the non-registered committee members in the description. Unless... non-registered committee members could be added as a text entry-type in the registered user area.

Markdown editor frustrates me. Will it be just like the e-mail version?

Denise Hartzell: Yes, the blast emailing feature also uses the Markdown editor. This simplified text editor encourages more simple, concise, and professional written content.

We are open to considering adding the Markdown editor to the "Committees" page to allow for additional formatting options. Therefore, I've updated this post to reflect what we would consider implementing.
