Include bio for members on "Board Members" page

It would be nice if on the Board Members page a viewer could click on a member and it would point to his/her Profile, where a Board member could store a short bio in the field that already exists so registrants could find out a little more about the Board member than just see his headshot and contact information.

I'd like to be able to add additional text boxes to a page layout. For instance, on the Board Members page layout, I'd like to have intro text, then the board list (as designed), then below the ability to add an additional text area where I can include role descriptions from our covenants.

Add responsibility field to Board of Directors Page

Today when listing people on the Board of Directors you can enter term end, contact info and officer designation. Each of our Members also has one or two liaison responsibilities for certain areas such as ARC, Communications, Maintenance, etc. This info makes it easier for residents to contact the appropriate board member with a question or concern.

The bio is a good idea, but we would like to see the ability to add another field for the Board Member's area of responsibility. For example, our Board Members have different liaison responsibilities, such as Communications, Beautification, Architectural Review, Maintenance, etc.

This is good idea! However in the meantime, you can create an unpublished page for each board member with their bio and put a link in the text section with a link to that unpublished page.
