Include a "reply-to" field on form pages
Meredith Owens
Allow an email address field on a contact/custom form to be designated as the "reply-to" field. If implemented, this would allow the recipient(s) to reply directly to the email address that the user writes in this particular field.

So 4 1/2 years after this suggestion was submitted, and many requests for updates, it still has not been fixed. please prioritize this one, it's very difficult to keep everyone up to date on the status of a contact form submittal, since you can't "reply-all" and have the reply sent to the original sender and the group of people it was submitted to. (i.e. the board members, or one of our committees)

John Snider: While this feature request has been opened for several years, I can assure you the amount of time a post has been opened doesn’t correlate with whether our team is still considering implementing it or not! Several factors come into play when deciding which feature requests to develop and when. You can read more about how we approach this here: https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2347346-how-feedback-change-requests-and-suggestions-are-handled
Over the past several years, our product team's primary goal has been been on completing the development of our next-gen front ends. This has been an enormous project, as it’s a total rewrite of the existing front ends using new cutting-edge technology and design.
We're currently working on the last major piece of this project: developing the new front ends for our community websites. That will need to be completed before we can work on this type of feature. We don't have a set timeframe for when this might be developed yet, but we will take your feedback into account when prioritizing what to work on after this is complete!
Additionally, since you have added your vote to this post, you will receive an email notification when we update its status.

Form Submission reply email address
Dave Suhr
When someone submits a form, have the return email address be the email address of the person that submitted the form rather than no-reply@xxxxxxxxx. This would make it easier for us to reply to the person submitting the Form. When we receive a form, usually it requires us to answer the person that submitted the form. It appears that you have that data because the submitted form displays the name of the person that submitted it. This would save us a lot of time.

We like the ability to build a custom form. It would be a great improvement to the Form for the Receiver(s) to be able to reply to the original sender with copies to the other receivers'. This would be great on an "Action Request Form" where the receiver of the request could could respond with the action to be taken or was taken.

The forms are great. A reply all capability to submitter and recipients Would be great and keep all recipients informed.
Kevin Coppola
This would be much appreciated. We’re a new community and people are really loving and using the form function. However, there’s no way for anyone to get direct replies.

Should be easy enough to program using the reply-to email header. https://karl-voit.at/2021/07/21/reply-to/

Yes, please! I can't count the number of times I've hit "reply," only to get an "undeliverable" email response because it went to the "no-reply" email address instead of the sender's address. Thanks!

This is enhancement would greatly improve replying to submissions from the Contact form. Please make this a priority. Thank you.
Bill Bullock
Where does this request stand? I have the same need. Please advise.

Bill Bullock: We haven't started working on this feature request, and I'm afraid we don't have an estimated timeframe yet. Our primary focus right now is finishing our next gen front ends, which, among many other benefits, will help us develop feature requests like this one more quickly!
The beta Admin Portal is nearing completion; you can check it out at https://admin.hoa-express.com and follow our progress in our quarterly recap blog articles: https://blog.hoa-express.com/tag/recap/.
Once we start to work on this feature request, our team will update the status of this post and you'll be notified via email!
