We've introduced a brand new page type: FAQs! You can now create a list of common questions with helpful answers for your residents.

Wes Cossick: It's great to have the FAQ page type now. One important feature that is missing from it: ability to have hyperlinked text. For example, the Answer part might include, "For more information, click here". (My current HOA "FAQ" page uses the "general text" page type because I can have hyperlinked text in it.)
Meredith Owens
Brad Miller: At present, we plan on this feature offering simplified text. However, we're open to considering additional formatting capabilities in the future. Therefore, we've opened a feature request for this to gather further feedback.
You can view that post here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/add-markdown-to-the-faq-page-type.

Would you please explain your feature request further?

Congratulations on the addition of all the new countries supported for HOA Express. When can those of us in the existing countries who are paying annual fees already expect some of our high interest functionality to move from "planned" to "in progress" or "complete"? This FAQ page matter being an example which has been "Planned" for some time now.
Meredith Owens
Greg Jonassen: I'm afraid there's not a timeframe available now for when this feature will be implemented. When our product team does start to work on this, you'll receive an email notifying you.
Also, while there haven't been many new features implemented recently, I can assure you our product team works on dozens of changes and improvements every week. We’ve changed thousands of lines of code just this week alone, mostly on things that improve the software behind-the-scenes for all users.

Not to rush you, but any update on the status of this. ETA? Just wondering. I think this would be quite helpful. Thank you
Meredith Owens
Chris McConnell: Thanks for checking in! We're still collecting feedback from others using our service as we consider how to best implement this. While we don't have an estimated timeframe for when this will be released, we'll update the status of this post when we start working on it, and you'll be notified via email.
Greg Jonassen
Once a Feature request is updated to "Planned", is there any way to get an indication as to when it might get to "In Progess" or "Completed"?
I believe the approach recommended by Joseph Fry looks very viable and our HOA is coming up to significant government legistlative changes that need to be explained to our membership and such a feature would be of tremendous benefit to us.
Meredith Owens
Greg Jonassen: I'm afraid there isn't a way to be notified ahead of when a request is going to change status. However, we appreciate you letting us know how this feature would benefit your community! We take into account the importance of a feature to communities when prioritizing them.
Our product team is currently investing time in developing the next generation of our front end interface. They'll continue to do so over the coming weeks and months. Therefore, this will draw some of their attention away from releasing noticeable updates as quickly.

Wes Cossick Hi Wes, I know you're currently working on this, but the FAQ example that Joseph Fry mentioned below would work perfectly. It's easy to understand how to use. It's clean and even our older (and some younger) non-computer literate residents would be able to understand the + or - signs.
Three important items I hope you are considering including: 1) staying on the page is a must. The sliding in of the answer without leaving the page makes the user experience so much better. No clicking the back button or tabs to try to figure out where you are. 2) the ability to group into sections with titles is also a must. The worst FAQ pages are ones that are just links to the bottom of a page with no order. And 3) Search capability, similar to the directory where starting typing brings up the word (if possible)
We plan to have sections on the Covenants, Rules, ARC, Landscaping, Who to call, etc.
I'm not sure we'd want or encourage comments or the ability to mark as inaccurate. However, others may want that. If you add it, maybe it can be a toggle on or off set by the Administrator.
Thanks for doing this.

FAQs answers can require more than a short answer. Some add clarification to confusing CC&R provisions or they may explain an HOA process in steps.
