Provide active links to FAQ
Tim Bjorneberg
I answer FAQs with website addresses and email addresses. These addresses are not active links, but instead, the member would need to copy and paste to access the sites/email. It sure would be better if the addresses were active links to make it more friendly. It would also be great to be able to format the FAQ answers for easier reading.

Being able to use HTML or the markdown editor in the FAQ section would vastly improve the appearance and efficiency of many FAQs. As others have mentioned, simply adding a hyperlink could avoid redundancy of information.
Of course, I see this improvement has been floated since 2020, and it is now 2023 so I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, it would improve the usability of the FAQ page. I have grown accustomed to FAQs that use Google Docs.

A category and/or color coding of FAQ could be useful as well. I have FAQs about everything from the website itself to what day garbage pickup is...this would help in organization.
