We've chosen the What's Happening email time based on what's optimal for the vast majority of communities. Many communities have events on Monday mornings, which wouldn't be included if the What's Happening email was delivered later in the day.

Further, having the emails arrive earlier rather than later allows community members to read its content whenever it works best, rather than waiting arbitrarily for the message to arrive.

To stay within our philosophy of reducing the number of choices and options in order to ensure user friendliness, we don't plan to implement the ability to customize the time it's delivered.
