I need to customize the wording on the Welcome email that goes out when members are imported. I want to explain this is a new, improved site replacing our old one and has a different URL. The generic welcome message is confusing and easily dismissed.

Roberta Reed: Thank you for sharing this use case with us. We'll keep this in mind as we look at developing this capability!
In the meantime, we recommend sending a separate blast email to your members after importing them. Here, you can explain further that you've created a new website, how it has a different domain, and any other information they may need to know.

We support this enhancement. The message is vague and does not represent our typical communication style. I'd also like to change the closing and signature.

We fully support this change. We are about to launch two HOA Express websites to our members (HOA & Water Co.) We are very impressed by almost every aspect of HOA E's offering and support. But this issue and the fact that emails and phone are not hidden by default are shortcomings. The first thing members see is a generic invite message. It is disappointing to see that this request is over a year old. I guess it mainly affects new websites and thus doesn't attract much support.

I really don't like the current wording! It says "...can be used to ...post on certain pages". Our site doesn't allow members to do this.
Brian Burress
I agree, I'd prefer to have control of the content for an invite whether through the portal or the import. Some of the changes I'd make are subtle (I prefer "Thank you" over "Thanks") as well as more meaningful by conveying a message about our intent for use of the site.

I think the more customization that can be used for the HOA's the better. I'm used to working on Wordpress websites with mailchimp and the limitations in this system are often frustrating to me. I get why many things are pre-set to make it easy but allowing for flexibility is also important.

I totally agree with Bernie.

GlenNet Webmaster: Since the request Bernie made below aligns with another request we have open, and you'd like that same capability, I've added your vote to that post here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/send-a-system-generated-reminder-to-members-about-creating-a-password.

We need the ability to send out a version of the message shown above to every resident who has not selected a Password. This would be a follow-up message, so we would want to customize the content.
The important aspect of this message is that it makes it easy for residents to select the Big Blue Box and be taken to an easy-to-use page for selecting a password.
Currently we have send out an email message to the non-password group, which includes hard-to-follow instructions on how to trick the system by pretending that they "Forgot their password" when in fact they never had one.
I suspect most communities are struggling with getting residences to acquire credentials....i.e., user ID and password. We are currently at just over 30% while at least over 70% have email addresses.
Any help we can get such as this suggestion would be appreciated. We want to aggressively mount a "sign-up" campaign because many of the functions on the website are dependent on residents having user IDs and Passwords.

Bernie Gleason: We have a separate post that more aligns with this request here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/send-a-system-generated-reminder-to-members-about-creating-a-password.
It looks like you've already added a vote and comment there. Therefore, when we have an updated status for this, you'll be notified via email!
