Meredith, how will this be different than what is already available? I customized our email. I would have liked to be able to add links and images to help guide our residents thru the registration process and I couldn't do that. But the text is customizable.

Ginette Hall: You may be thinking of our invite to join registration option. With this, you can customize the invitation email that is sent to members, encouraging them to register on the website. https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2350377-inviting-members-to-join
The import registration option allows an administrator to register an account on behalf of a member. When this occurs, they're sent a notification about this action with a link to set up a password. The notification email is not currently customizable, and this is what the feature request is for!

I need to customize the wording on the Welcome email that goes out when members are imported. I want to explain this is a new, improved site replacing our old one and has a different URL. The generic welcome message is confusing and easily dismissed.
Meredith Owens
Roberta Reed: Thank you for sharing this use case with us. We'll keep this in mind as we look at developing this capability!
In the meantime, we recommend sending a separate blast email to your members after importing them. Here, you can explain further that you've created a new website, how it has a different domain, and any other information they may need to know.

We would like to customize the email text that new accounts receive when we import them. We can’t use the Invite feature since it doesn’t match our address format in Mexico so use Import every time.

We support this enhancement. The message is vague and does not represent our typical communication style. I'd also like to change the closing and signature.

We fully support this change. We are about to launch two HOA Express websites to our members (HOA & Water Co.) We are very impressed by almost every aspect of HOA E's offering and support. But this issue and the fact that emails and phone are not hidden by default are shortcomings. The first thing members see is a generic invite message. It is disappointing to see that this request is over a year old. I guess it mainly affects new websites and thus doesn't attract much support.

I really don't like the current wording! It says "...can be used to ...post on certain pages". Our site doesn't allow members to do this.

I agree, I'd prefer to have control of the content for an invite whether through the portal or the import. Some of the changes I'd make are subtle (I prefer "Thank you" over "Thanks") as well as more meaningful by conveying a message about our intent for use of the site.

I think the more customization that can be used for the HOA's the better. I'm used to working on Wordpress websites with mailchimp and the limitations in this system are often frustrating to me. I get why many things are pre-set to make it easy but allowing for flexibility is also important.
