If there are posts that have a bunch of comments on them, you need to scroll endlessly to get to the last one and to the textarea that lets you respond as well.

To simplify this you could make a simple "... see more ... " text button that shows all comments when clicked, and hides up to 90% of the messages. Hiding those already seen is even better!
