Change purpose of the activity log
Meredith Owens
Update the purpose of the activity log from indicating what actions have occurred in the past, to recording the specifics of every single changed piece of information on the website. This would require all of the activity log entries to be updated.
Due to the time investment this would require, the request will only be developed if it garners a substantial amount of traction.

Recommend that the recipient's email address and the message sent be included in the Activity log for Accounts denied, as well as accounts approved.

Add contact info and response message to Activity log for declined accounts

The "Activity log" currently shows when an account was declined and who the account belonged to (name on the registration), but not their email address(es) or the reason for declining the account (the hand typed response message).
Recommend that the recipient's email address and the message sent be included in the Activity log for Accounts denied, as well as accounts approved. We sometimes need to get back to a person who was declined (e.g., if a spot opens up for our non-resident pool members).

As it is the Activity Log is nearly useless. As an example, here an owner has changed something apparently 3 times. Maybe the same thing. Maybe 3 different things. In all cases, no actual useful information is conveyed to the administrator. To try and work out if what was changed was actually important I have to go both Member View and Account View while comparing them with the information in the accounting system.
That it mixes changes to content with changes to owners accounts along with online payment activity makes it even more frustrating.

We would like the activity log to track specific changes to the page, such as when it was published/unpublished.

would be especially good for info that is very key to see if all got the message- like in MS Outlook you can make items to see if read or opened- John Mann

John Mann: If you'd like to see if a communication was successfully delivered to your selected recipients, that will be available in the "Communications" section of the Admin Portal! More information about where to find this is provided in the following help article: https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2343136-viewing-the-communication-details

I don't believe my request should have been merged with this item. Yes, I mention the activity log, but I think the path is more important in the What's Happening email for residents to find the listed documents.
Meredith Owens
Vince McGowan: The What's Happening email will include a hyperlink to the uploaded document plus the name of the page it was uploaded to. Including the full folder path is more detailed and complex than our What's Happening email is intended for. Therefore, I'm afraid we don't plan to add that information there for newly uploaded documents.

Record folder path
Vince McGowan
We have a number of top-level folders which have sub-folders titled by year. Whether in the activity log or the What's Happening newsletter, the folder name for new documents is only identified by the year folder without its top-level folder. The full folder path should be listed to more easily identify its location.

I agree. It would be very helpful to include the entire path.
Mitch Letho
Completely agree. We have numerous sub folders with the same name and the What’s Happening emails showing recently loaded documents becomes misleading as it doesn’t show the full folder path. Thanks for the suggestion.
Renee Somers
Yes it would be very helpful to include the full path
