Allow recurring announcements and communications

We have announcements or communications we would like set up on a regular basis. Right now the only way to do this is to create an artificial calendar event. Some examples:
- need volunteers to serve on the Nominating committee (annual)
- need volunteers to serve on the Board for the upcoming term (annual)
- reminder of yard debris pickup (every other month)

Great idea. With more thought and consideration, HOW this could operate could be proposed.
AS I see additionaly applying a “Freshness” date to Announcements. It is “good” (aka Active) from Nov 1st through Nov 15th at which point it is removed (deadlines met, etc.).
Again - a well thought-out requirement on how this would be implemented may benefit HOA-E.

Agree, having to delete news articles weekly and add them again to be included with What's Happening is ridiculous.

Yes. This idea sounds like a timesaving, useful tool.

would love announcement or communications page to assist - talk about something that will drive people to the HOA website on a regular basis - this type of tool will help. We have been using the classifieds/forum and would love just to have a dedicated page for this purpose... have someone get a hold of me when it has been made available.
Please have the page be able to link to community calendars, news articles, classifieds - where the most recently posted item would be cross posted as well.

I like this idea of allowing recurring announcements. It would be so much easier than cutting and pasting a previous one.

For reminders of upcoming events, we frequently use news articles, which appear at the top of the weekly what’s happening email. We would like to be able to schedule recurrent news articles (reminders) for several weeks before the upcoming event.
The way I do this now is to copy/paste a news article each week I want it to appear.

I totally agree- so many times I have to copy and past prior messages to send out a recurring topic.
