Additional sorting options for members in the directory

Include a drop-down menu or another form of selection to allow visitors to select the order of the members in a directory.
ORIGINAL POST:
I would like the ability to change the order that residents appear in the Homeowner Directory. IE the list appears to be sorted by the last name of residents. I would like to sort by their unit number. IE Unit 1, 2, 3, 4, etc vs by the residents last name like it currently is. Appreciated!

Concur that you should be able to divide the directory by member type. For example, we have 100% of our lots owned but only 50% have homes built and occupied. We need to be able to easily see both types and identify the difference between them.

We would like to be able to sort the Resident Directory by last name or address - if not at the User level, at least at the Admin level. That's the basic requirement. We would certainly appreciate the opportunity to sort by any field in the directory - but last name and address are essential.

We would like the ability to filter the neighborhood directory of members by the different account types we have created for our website. This would allow people to quickly reduce the directory down to a subset of members that they are interested in. In our case, we have a group of lake lot owners and would like to be able to filter down quickly to a list of that group.

Would like to be able to sort by various fields. A dropdown to select sort field(s) would be good.

Multiple sort options would be very helpful, not just when viewing the directory but also when using it to populate groups (for example, we have email groups for each street in our community) - last name, first name, unit/house/lot number, and street name would all be helpful options for various purposes
