Add the ability to post multiple photos in classified listings
Jim Stolarski
Currently, the "Classifieds" page only allows for a single photo to be added per listing. While it's very easy to post that photo, one is often not enough for a seller to effectively portray their item.

Disappointed that something so obvious hasn't been addressed after so many years on the Feedback site. We can't consider using the Classifieds page for our members until this is available.

Wildwood PropertyOwners: While this post has been opened for a while, I can assure you the amount of time a post has been opened doesn’t correlate with whether our team is still considering implementing it! Several factors come into play when deciding which feature requests to develop and when. You can read more about how we approach this here: https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2347346-how-feedback-change-requests-and-suggestions-are-handled.
Our team is currently developing the front ends for our community website front ends. That will need to be completed before we can look into developing this type of capability for the "Classifieds "page type. Your vote has been added to this post, so you'll be notified via email once we update its status!
In the meantime, you can use the "Forum" page type for members to post items for sale. This page supports adding multiple images to a post or comment.

GREAT idea. Residents continually ask for the ability to post multiple photos with items they list in our Classified Ad section. Our community would really like to see this accomplished.

Lhv Website: An alternative to using the "Classifieds" page type to post homes for sale in your community is to use the "News articles" page type. You can post different articles for each listing, and you'll be able to add as many photos to that post as needed.
An example of how this could look is provided below.
Kevin Adler
Meredith Owens Meredith, your recommendation to use a news article would assume that community members have access to building a news page, which they do not.
They are able to post a classified post — but not a news article, so that work around really doesn’t solve the problem. Thank you
Meredith Owens
Kevin Adler: I'm happy to clarify my recommendation! You can grant whomever you'd like to post here page editing privileges. Whether that's an entire account type (e.g., Homeowners), a custom group, or specific individuals.
Instructions for how to do this are provided in the following article: https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2353902-adding-page-editors

Meredith Owens all of us are asking for multiple photos for classified advertisements, and you’re directing admins to allow “Joe and Joanna homeowner” to create news page with free form text fields and photos at will.
Something seems off, as I can tell you there is no prebuilt process to allow owners who want to post a classified ad to request admin privileges to create a feee form news page for them to create a classified ad post. But okay.
Meredith Owens
Kevin Adler: We are still considering the above feature request to post multiple photos to a "Classifieds" page listing. What I suggested is a workaround for the meantime. To clarify, this workaround does not involve granting all members the "pages" administrative privileges to add new pages to the website.
Instead, the suggestion is to have a single "News articles" page type where you can post homes for sale/rent. On this page, you can grant a designated member, group, or account type page editing privileges. This way, they only have access to add and manage content on that particular page.
From there, they can create new posts for their home listings. This page type utilizes our simplified text editor, which allows users to add extensive text, format it in various ways, upload multiple images, and attach additional files. Therefore, if you need somewhere to share more information about a home for sale, this is a suitable alternative. Several communities are currently using this page type successfully for that purpose.

Homeowners have requested the ability to post more than one photo to a classified listing. They're using this page to post homes for sale.

We have had many requests to add more photos to the homes for sale listings. Are there any plans to expand that feature to allow more than one photo?

Absolutely
PLEASE allow us to post multiple photos!

I don't know if this should be a separate item but the "Forum" page should also allow more than one photo per post. In order to keep our site more manageable, we stopped using a Classifieds page and incorporated Classifieds into the Forum. I know other communities have done that as well.
Meredith Owens
Chris Juzda: Yes, that would be a separate feature request that we would consider! You can create a dedicated post for that here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests.

Wondering why you cannot have multiple photos on the Classified page. I can download multiple photos in Photo gallery. Why not classifieds?
Meredith Owens
Larry Amundson: Currently, the "Classifieds" page is designed to only have one photo uploaded per listing. However, we can see the benefit of being able to add multiple photos to a listing, which is why we're considering the above request!
I've added your vote to this post, so you'll be notified when our team updates the status of this feature request.
Margaret Coyle-Rees
I have gotten this request from multiple users in my community. They would like the flexibility of adding multiple photos in a manner similar to craigs list. Our users would definitely appreciate this feature.
Margaret Coyle-Rees
Specifically, we would like the ability to add multiple photos to a classified ad.
