Add accounts to groups
Wes Cossick
Right now, only members can be placed within a group. Some communities use groups to organize members by way of geographical divisions, like sections within their neighborhood. This type of organization is based on the address, which is associated at the account-level.
With the current design, if one member were placed in a group, and they added a second member to their account, that second member wouldn't be part of any group.
If, instead, accounts themselves could be added to groups, new members added to accounts already in groups would inherently be part of those groups too.

All of the same logic would apply for communities such as ours....where all members have the same street address but community is composed of 5 buildings. Hence, a logical group is all accounts and members in the same building.

Add members to groups by selecting accounts instead of members
Barry Elk
Since my "upload group members" request was closed, I'll take another approach...
Add members to groups by selecting accounts instead of members (ie - add all members from an account).
This would allow an easier method of adding people to a group who do NOT have the same last name.

yep! (Icing on the cake would be the ability to select accounts in bulk - for example by searching for all accounts with a street address of "LONGWOOD" and then "SELECT ALL" - but I would just take the initial request as a big improvement!)
