Ability for members to post to a forum via email

Have an email address for "Forum" pages (e.g [email protected]), so emails sent there are automatically posted to that page. Members could also reply to forum notification emails to add comments to an existing post. This way, members don't have to visit the website to post to the forum.

The ability to respond to a neighborhood conversation without logging in would be hugely valuable in our situation. Our site competes mostly with an ancient, poorly functioning and poorly secured Yahoo group for easy neighborhood-wide communications. They like the Yahoo group because responses to their posts are simple email replies from interested neighbors. In the end, competing platforms take away from the power of the network that the HOA-Express based website could develop if we could direct that traffic into our site.

I don't see much advantage in it. Am I missing something
