Reply to forwarded message is being sent from wrong email address

We are seeing an issue with the use of our board@villasofrocksprings.com email account. This email account is set up to foward incoming emails to 7 board members. The issue we have is that if an individual board member replies to this forwarded email, it is being sent FROM the “board@” email address rather than that board member’s individual address.

We determined what was causing this behavior based on the additional information provided. Since another community-branded email account is on the forwarding list for your “Board” email, it automatically created an alias. That’s a built-in behavior of our email account provider that we can’t change and is not a bug.
With an email alias, you’ll need to select who the message should be sent from when responding to a message. This will appear as a drop-down under the “From” section when composing an email. Below is an example GIF showing how to select this within the webmail portal.

I pulled an email from Dale where he confirmed this last Board meeting (sent appropriately from 'president@' -- and then a reply I started that is INappropriately coming from 'board@' even though you can see in the top right corner that I'm logged in as 'secretary@'. This is what she's looking for.
But Dale's next email that he sent to correct the time is coming INappropriately from 'board@' - even though he'd literally just sent an email from having been logged in as 'president@'. I've highlighted everything in yellow.
