Editing Text Erratic

I'm editing a text type page. I find that the editing ribbon sometimes stays fixed at the top of the page, and other times scrolls off the page. I would like it to be visible at all times when I am editing. I'm trying to make a series of headings look the same, so I make them Trebuchet 14 and block H2, but some show at the bottom of the page as being H2 >> SPAN, and look different. Why is this happening? This footing area is also not fixed at the bottom of the screen, we have to scroll to the bottom of the whole text to see it, and access the Save button. This is less than desirable. Can you come up with some solutions? HELP!

The text editor we use for a page's text is developed and maintained by a third party (Tiny). With our next gen front ends, we'll be replacing the text editor with one built and maintained by a different company. This new editor should be more reliable. You can test out the Markdown version of the new editor when creating a survey in our beta Admin Portal: https://admin.hoa-express.com/surveys/create.
In the meantime, we don't have plans to replace the editor in our current front ends, since these front ends will be replaced by the next gen front ends in the near future.

Wes Cossick: Can you tell us how near the "near future" is? I'm going crazy trying to set a heading line to a block style without it corrupting the formatting of the lines above it. Hint for anyone else having this problem: if you want to change a line of text to one of the block styles without affecting any other lines, copy a string of text with the desired formatting, then select the target text you wish to change the style of and past the copied data over it. This gets you the style you want, then you just select the text and type in the actual content.

John Howard: Our product team is working to complete the next gen front ends as quickly as possible, though it's a very large project. Follow our changelog to watch our progress.
