Nested folders feature request

We need more levels of nesting to make the sections more usable. We'd like to be able to do Level 1. Folder: Site plan committee > Level 2. Folders: A. Current petitions, B. Resources, C. City of Bellevue info, D. Meeting minutes, E. Past Petitions Level 3: Current petitions subfolder date/lot number folder (holds all documents from petition), Past petitions Subfolder - 2022, 2021, etc. k

We have sub-folders but the ability/ available page tool is not there any more.

Denny Dido: Are you referring to the ability to move pages into a folder? If so, you can do that by dragging and dropping pages into your desired folder using the "move" icon. More details and instructions can be found in this help article: https://help.hoa-express.com/en/articles/2353846-about-folders.

It does seem that one level of nesting is all that is allowed. I've attached an example of how we have set up pages with a main folder and one level of sub-folders. It is not possible to go beyond that.
Scott Osburne
You can do this by creating the folder and then dragging it into another folder.

Can you do it if Committees, Site Plan and Submissions are all nested folders and the pages are 2023, 2022 etc?

Scott Osburne - we can only get site plan folder > nested site plan folder. We can't get another folder into the nested folder. Is there a workaround?
Scott Osburne
Robert Dietz This seems to be the extent of the sub-folder capabilities. It should be a relatively easy enhancement for HOA Express. You can submit it as a change request.

We've intentionally limited the menu to just three levels (top, one folder deep, two folders deep) to ensure content on the website does not become buried and difficult to find for your members. If your page organization strategy requires more than three levels, we recommend considering a different organization strategy that does not require as many folder clicks to find content. If you reach out to our customer success team, they'd be happy to take a look at the content on your website and offer suggestions for how to best organize it.

Wes Cossick the classic customer is wrong answer. Flat sites are just as confusing as deep if you have lots of content you’d like to maintain. Maybe we’ve outgrown the feature set. Thx

Robert Dietz: Have you reached out to our customer success team for recommendations on how to organize the content on your website? They can leverage their experience having worked with thousands of communities to suggest an organization strategy that is optimal for both your community and your members, striking the right balance between organization and navigability.

Wes Cossick will do if I can’t find an alternate product built to match our proposed site structure. Good to know there is a team standing by to help with workarounds. Thanks
