Have the website analytics exclude activity from administrators that are logged into the website.

On the page views analytics, can we exclude page views from Administrator accounts?

This is HUGE! As an Admin, I am constantly checking on the pages I make changes to. It skews any analytics that could really help the HOA.

I agree that separating the admins in their own analytic would be a good way to approach this. Thank you for considering

I agree that this would be very helpful. What would be more helpful is Russ' suggestion to put the admin in a separate analytic. Or perhaps you can implement tabs or options of general users, admin, both.
Russ Hart
I agree totally, the analytics are pretty much a waste because we have three administrators and I would venture to say 50% of traffic on the site is us. If you can't leave administrators out at least put them in another category to show true website/page visits.
Chris McConnell
I agree with this. As the Administrator, I look at several pages to make sure they are still current and relevant. But, the analytics look like a lot of residents are looking at the page, but it's only me. And yes, definitely the Administrator has to be logged in.

Or, nice and simple, just use total views minus administrator views.
Meredith Owens
This is something we could consider implementing in the future. For this to be possible, the visitor would need to be logged into the website for our system to determine if they're a website administrator. I've updated this post's description to align with this.

I would also like to request this feature. Thank you

Meredith Owens: So if pages were locked, The separate admin analytics would give us true visitor data.
