I would like to see the member export allow you to include the account type and both addresses (inside community and mailing addresses)
Meredith Owens
Michael Wirsing: This is currently available if you visit the "Account view" tab in the "Members" section in the Admin Portal. Here, you can select the "Export" button and "Advanced" from the drop-down menu.

Meredith Owens: I saw it in the Advanced export for accounts but that export didn’t have some of the fields that I needed from the advanced member export. I just don’t understand why the member type wasn’t included with the members export, it’s clearly a member attribute and we need it to differentiate our homeowners from renters. My workaround is to put renters in a renters group but that’s not ideal
Meredith Owens
Michael Wirsing: Account types relate to an account as a whole, with accounts typically representing households. Due to how member and account information is stored, there will always be two distinct exports, one from the "Member view" and one from the "Account view," as the two are fundamentally different in how that information is stored and organized.
If you'd like to export individual member information, like their email address and cell phone number, you'll want to export from the "Member view." On the other hand, if you'd like to have information about the entire account (like account type, physical address, home phone number), you'll need to export from the "Account view."

Thanks this is helpful, however for the Accounts export it would be nice to be able to include individual name, address, phone and email info. Then a sort option for the export, saving us to sort after the export.

This is very helpful. For example, we have seven different associations in our HOA and we restrict some info to a particular association/group. This now easily allows us to make sure that everyone is assigned to the correct group. Thank you!

Following on the heels of the new advanced member export, we’ve just released an advanced account export feature!
Between the two new features, users now have detailed control over how members and accounts are exported, and what’s included in those exports.

Good news! We’ve just released an advanced member export feature, offering the ability to fully customize how members are exported. There are now more exportable columns, and you can choose which address(es) get exported.
Give the new feature a try, and if you have any feedback, please let us know. The ability to customize how accounts are exported is still in the works, so we’ll leave this feature request marked as “in progress.”

Wes Cossick: Great!! Can you explain the numbers, colons… etc. Time logged in, I assume, and the time spent on site? Confused by the colons and the 0000Z. Thanks!
Edward Hamlin
Wes Cossick: This looks great - thanks!

Tonyia Downs: Yes, when exporting date and time data on our platform, we use the ISO 8601 format, which Wikipedia describes as the "international standard covering the worldwide exchange and communication of date and time-related data."
The structure is year, month, day, hour, minute, second, millisecond, timezone.

Wes Cossick: This is very nice! Now can we have the same setup for the online payments export. Way too much junk gets put into that export.
Tonyia Downs
Wes Cossick: Lol. Way more info than I care to have. Is there a way to modify that on my end? Perhaps I can re-format that in an excel.
Meredith Owens
Tonyia Downs: Most spreadsheet editors (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers) will allow you to further customize how a date is formatted!
Meredith Owens
Phil Wright: We have a separate open post for this feature request! I've added your vote to that post, and you can view more information about it here: https://feedback.hoa-express.com/feature-requests/p/customize-online-payment-export.
