Upload more than one document under the "Upload file" element on a custom form

Currently, when creating a custom form, adding the Upload Documents feature, the user is only allowed to upload a single document. You cannot select more than one for the upload. The only way around this is to add multiple upload buttons. Can we allow users to upload more than one document with a single upload? Understanding that size limitations might need to be implemented.

Apparently, many people have been requesting this feature for quite a while. Can someone please tell us the status of it being implemented? Thank you.

Bryan Cronin: This is one of nearly 500 open feature requests that our product team is considering. No timeline has been set for when it’ll be developed, but we’re constantly improving our product!

Add the ability to attach multiple files via the custom form

I appreciate the ability to add an attachment (file) using our custom form. However, I'm receiving inquiries from end users who do not like the one-file attachment limitation and want the ability to add multiple files, just as they can do in an email, etc. Can we please implement that feature? I think it would prove helpful. Thanks.

Great idea, I could see us using this a lot!

Enhance multiple files attachment to forms

Right now on the custom form template, the "File Upload" element in the custom forms template, allows only a single file to be attached. If we want to provide for multiple attachment files in a form submission (as might be the case for architectural change request), we must add numerous separate "File Upload" elements to the custom form - making the final form look more complicated and messy.
Plus - how many separate file upload elements should we include? How do we know in advance how many files the user needs to upload in an architectural change request package? We could ask them to zip everything up into one big file, but then there's the site-wide 20MB upload file size limit which is pretty small for something like a zip file containing a bunch of manufacturer materials brochures with color samples and many photographs.
Our request: Enhance the "File Upload" element so that it can be used multiple times to build a list of files to be uploaded in the form submission. Or create a new/alternate "Multi-File Upload" element that can do this.
Thank you!

This would be so helpful to be able to have multiple attachments please

I agree this is sorely needed. We are using a custom form for Architectural Requests and it is very common for the user to have to add multiple documents to the request(e.g. survey, build plan, paint colors, contractor insurance documents, etc...)

Storage is extremely cheap these days. It's very 90s to try to reduce storage use if that's the limitation. Multi-file uploads have also been standard since the 90s.

This would be helpful for owners submitting build plans which normally includes 4 or 5 files to submit a complete set of documents required for the approval process.

This would be helpful to residents wanting to repaint with more than one color chip, which they'd need to upload.
